I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have been working in a school-based setting for the last 13 years where I provide specialized therapeutic and educational support services for school age children whose emotional, behavioral or social cognitive difficulties seriously interfere with school functioning. I have training in teaching social thinking to Aspergers and high functioning Autistic children and adolescents. I also provide mental health counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and families in my private practice office in Campbell.
I work collaboratively with my clients in helping them look at their strengths and abilities while also exploring what may be interfering with their happiness. Sometimes that's learning how to cope or manage difficult feelings, stress or conflict. My responsibility is to provide a safe place for my client to express themselves without feeling judged. Together we can find alternatives and tools that will allow for lasting changes in their lives and strengthen connections with others.
